Monday, the Baldwin County Sheriff's Office held a press conference to reveal new details in the shooting that left Ward and the suspect dead, and injured Deputy Curtis Summerlin. Officials said Monday that the suspect, Michael Jansen, should not have owned a gun because of mental issues.
